Biagio's Italian - Lake Forest

The pizza at this restaurant is delicious! I have been dining at Biaggio's since I was a child back in 1977/78. Even though I no longer live in Lake Forest or the OC area since 1990, whenever I am in town, I make it a point to visit this restaurant. I would give it 4 stars because at times the family members working there can be a bit rude and the atmosphere can be lacking. However, their sausage on the pizza is incredible, although they have a tendency to undercook it, leaving it raw. When ordering a pizza with sausage, make sure to request it "crunchy" to ensure it is cooked through. I remember they used to have a great burger as well, but I am not sure if they still offer it.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant ever. I love their spaghetti, pizza, fresh bread, and fettuccine alfredo pasta. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for as long as I can remember. My grandmother used to take her sons (my father and uncle) there, and my father later brought me, my brother, and my sister. Even though we are all in our twenties now, we still love coming here. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is so cozy. I now live in Riverside, but Biagio's is definitely worth the drive.

Ok I like 5 stars, but really the 5 stars are for the pizza, because that's all we ever order. absolutely the best pizza in south orange county, calif. never a soggy chest, much taste. please support them family-run, independent restaurants.

The evening was great. had the half spaghetti and beef raviolis. the best I've had for a long time.

Moved to CA from NY a few years ago. Unfortunately, this was our first time trying Biagio's. Ordered Calamari and a sausage pizza. Calamari was excellent! Unlike many of the other restaurants we've tried this Calamari was very tender, not chewy or over fried; perfectly done.Pizza was excellent too. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
