Thought we would try this Chinese restaurant out again as we were in the area. Glad we did........we asked the owner to cook us up something more authentic. He did do that. Portions are still quite large. We enjoyed this visit much more than last.......Keep it up!! View all feedback.
What DDinBC doesn't like about Winfield Chinese Restaurant:
IMO Very disappointing threw most of it out. Take out only right now and Chow Mein take out is a container of squashed PLAIN dry over cooked noodles that literally come out in a dried up clump for $18.00. On top of the clump they put a few toppings (very few) NONE is mixed into the over cooked dried out noodles--just put on the very top to appear like it is Chow Mein. Just awful never again. Just moved here and this is a surprisingly good restaurant! Was only doing takeout and ordered a dinner for one. The chop suey was delicious, vegetables fried to perfection with lots of crunch. Chow main was just as good, beef was tender and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I'll be back for sure . Call first, they seem to be doing only take out at present due to staffing issues.
Purchased a combo dinner take out. Everything was great, lots of chicken, fresh vegies with the chow mien. Usual soy sauce and cookie. We were very pleased at the quality of the food. Almost a 5 star.

Tried a few times and always regret it--very surprised about the good reviews. Wish I had taken a picture before tossing out. Go to Chop Sticks.
Generally decent food except we ordered take out and the chow mien was swimming in sweet and sour sauce from the s&s pork.
I’ve lived in Winfield most my life have been eating at this Chinese restaurant for many years. Food has always been top notch well above average. I never understand where all the bad reviews come from to be honest I think it’s either just entitled or annoyingly picky people leaving the nasty reviews because I’ve never once had a bad experience in all the years I’ve ordered food from here.
