Steak 'n Shake - Lake City

Wouldn't be that bad if the prices Wouldn't have went up not really worth the drive now

Awesome cook. This is definitely one of the best Steak 'N Shakes that I 've eaten at. Friendly helpful staff fast service.

We stopped here passing through on our way home from Gainesville (we live in Northwest Florida) we don’t have a Steak and Shake near us so we decided to try it. It wasn’t busy but the person on the floor was super friendly, the food was fresh and hot which is always a plus at a fast food place, and it was really good! Very impressed with how good it was! Definitely stop in and try them if you are in the Lake City area!

The young gal that was working the afternoon of 3/25 is an amazing employee. She was everywhere taking care of all of the customers and making sure everyone was enjoying their meals. Way to go! The food was delicious!!!

I stopped eating at Steak n Shake a couple of years ago because it didn 't seem to matter where I was, the food sucked and so did the customer service. Out of desperation I decided I would lower my expectations severely and just swing in and grab a stale burger and cold fries and deal with it, I mean at least I wouldn 't be hungry anymore, right?! I was a little annoyed because the drive-thru was taking longer than my impatient self wanted to wait for cold food so imagine my horror when it was my turn and I got my food and I was proven wrong! Holy smokes!, my fries were piping hot and not only was my burger hot, it was good! What a great surprise! Oh yeah, I also ordered 2 meals for my little boys and their food was just as good and the fries came in this neat little cardboard carton that fit on their balled up little fists and made the greatest thing for them to fight over! Thank you to this Steak 'n Shake for turning it around for me!
