Boxcar Barnett's - Lake City

This restaurant is a wonderful place to dine. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. It may not be fancy, but how often do you have the opportunity to eat in a railroad box car?

I stumbled upon a simple restaurant on my way to Myrtle Beach. I arrived on Friday afternoon at the end of a week-long art festival. The restaurant is a bit away from downtown, where parking was impossible due to the festival. The town was adorable, and I must return! It's a self-seating restaurant. The service was excellent - the staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a plain cheeseburger and fries, and that's exactly what I got. It was tasty. While I was eating, a train passed by, causing the whole restaurant to shake. It felt like we were moving on a train!

The food tasted like a typical BBQ burger, but it took 3 hours and 10 minutes to be served to my family. One of our orders was delayed by 10 minutes. I do not recommend dining at this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the service is top-notch, and we are regulars here. It's definitely one of our favorite spots to dine at!

Today's lunch was fantastic! It was just what we were looking for. Thank you!
