Chips and salsa is very special. They serve a few different types of salsa which is not very typical and all have great flavors. Rice and beans they serve with dishes also very good. Finally I ordered tacos carne asada and it was great. View all feedback.

They didn't even take my order, only my companion's, I don't know if it was because they didn't listen to me but they didn't even bother to ask, the food was not good at all, I would never go back. View all feedback.
Went for dinner and thought the food was pretty good. Their chips and salsa were super good. Service and atmosphere was great as soon as we walked in. Would visit again when back in town.
We each had the Luncheon Taco Salads, which were delicious, service fantastic, but the TVS were a bit loud. We could barely speak with each other.
This place is a must try if you are in lake charles for work or just to visit which was my case and it definitely was a surprise for me just how good the food was, the presentation of the food, and the restaurant itself has some amazing Mexican murals and wall decor. Definitely recommend it!
The food is good and the atmosphere is even better. Went there on a Saturday night at 7:30 and despite them being busy we were seated right away and the waitress arrived within seconds of taking our seat. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Would definitely recommend to others.
They have the best taco salad I've ever eaten! Service was top notch. Love the atmosphere. Highly recommend Nogal.
