Mellow Mushroom Lake Charles

First time here and let me just say… WOW! The big Herbie Transformer statue caught our eye at first and we had to stop and take a picture of course then we took one look around and thought this place was going to be good. When you walk in the atmosphere is welcoming and chill. Our server Noah was amazing, made sure we were taken care of, cracked some jokes and just overall made the experience better than it already was! We got the pretzel bites with beer cheese, spicy and regular and both tasted so good! We ordered a medium Mighty Meaty and the slices were so big me and my husband had one each then took the rest home. The food is delicious and by far our favorite pizza that we’ve eaten from anywhere. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We will be back!

I love that this place exists! I have never tasted Pizza like this! You can tell that everything that they put into this pizza is homemade or from scratch I'm not sure if they even make their own cheese but every ingredient that is put into these pizzas are all heartfelt sprinkled with love. One of the hardest Foods is pizza because they are everywhere. After going to lake Charles Louisiana and going to the mellow mushroom I have not ordered a pizza since. This establishment completely raise the bar on high quality ingredients, amazing customer service, and the environment and location top it all off. I love absolutely love that this is a mom and pop shop and I love the connections that everyone has with each other it is so genuine and authentic I believe it plays a huge part and why everything tastes so good. I would recommend this place for any occasion to be quite honest. I give mellow mushroom a 5 out of five.

The pizza is huge. Waitress was really nice. We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese and it was delicious. The wait was completely worth it as the pizza was fresh and perfect. Waitress refilled our drinks without us even needing to ask.10/10

What can I say about this restaurant and my experiences here?.........well, to sum it up in one word......... Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!!!!! Lol... On a serious note, this is a wonderful place all around. Food is thoughtful and delicious, atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, activities for the kids that are in viewing distance, fair prices, great staff, great drinks and to top it off they have LIVE MUSIC which is my favorite thing about this place. Pizza Pasta AND Pizzicato!

Great pizza, great drinks. Been eying this place for a while, but always have something else in mind. Finally decided to try them outx and it was great. A bit more expensive than pizza hut lol, but the variety and authenticity of the cooking style is great. Will eat here again.
