The BEST po boy I have ever eaten!! Locals were telling me to try the Darrell Special with spicy Mayo and and shrimp. Most importantly, gravy on the side(you will thank me later). The sandwich had roast beef, Turkey, ham, and cheese. I had the large and I am regretting it lol. Should have stuck with the small but live and learn. This is a place that is worth a visit.
Had an amazing shrimp poboy sandwich…the bread is the winner freshly baked, perfectly cooked juicy shrimp and great toppings.
I’m visiting from Seattle, and this is one of the best PO-BOYS I ever had. Great family atmosphere and they have IPAS. Recommended!
A little late making this review. Ate here three years ago came across these images today in my Facebook memories. I had one of the best shrimp poorboy’s I have ever eaten! Since, I have wanted another one. So when the opportunity arose to order oneat various other places during my travels, I have. Unfortunately, NONE have matched Darrell’s! I want to go back!!! Wishthere was one near me in TX!!!! Please try one if you enjoy jalapeños like I love, and you won’t be disappointed! Note, Ihate Mayo, but their Mayo sauce is great!
We waited for over an hour for our order. Waitress was so preoccupied talking to other staff members she didn't pay attention to her tables. When we questioned our ticket, she realized she forgot to place our order. This was our first time visiting this restaurant you lost four possible customers. There are no recommendations this time.
