A Piece Of Cake - Lake Charles

I went in 6.9.21 and got a half dozen cupcakes. Customer service was good. The frosting was messy whoever decorated it. Some cupcakes had more sprinkles than other cupcakes. The vanilla cake itself wasn't very sweet but they made up for it with the frosting. It was super sweet and tasted like amaretto which I don't like. Got a last minute cake for a birthday and it tasted amazing.

My sister wanted to go here for a birthday cupcake, as they had made her wedding cake 24 years ago. Still in the same shop. She enjoyed her cupcake. I got a white cupcake with strawberry filling. I wa s expecting something like strawberry cream or icing. It was strawberry jam. Just not pleasant to me. But the cake and icing were good.
