Village Ice Cream - Lake Arrowhead

It's a small and cozy ice cream shop, the workers were great, there weren't many people when we went there, but there's an array of different things you could get besides icecream. Very cute place, although i prefer the regular churro over the oreo one. But overall great!

I have visited this ice cream shop several times, but yesterday my mother and I were treated poorly. We were in line ahead of some white customers, and while a nice young lady served me ice cream and my mother tea, a white blonde girl at the register refused to check us out. She claimed she preferred to help the customers behind us, even though they were okay with waiting. After some hesitation, she finally checked us out, but not without some confusion over what we ordered. My mom, whose English isn't perfect, tried to ask questions about the charges, but the girl at the register seemed unwilling to help. Eventually, a different young lady assisted us and pointed out discrepancies in our order, including an incorrect charge for a caramel macchiato and a syrup we never received. It appeared that the rude girl's behavior towards us was unwarranted, possibly influenced by our Hispanic heritage and my mom's language difficulties. Despite this unfortunate experience, I still love the ice cream at this shop and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for addressing our concerns and ensuring better treatment for all customers. We come all the way from Orange County to enjoy your ice cream, and we will definitely be back.

Ice creams great, excellent service nothing more to say

Amazing ice cream, amazing staff, and an overall amazing experience.

The shakes at this restaurant are delicious and served in a fun mason jar, but the portion size is quite small for the price of $15. I believe they should add more milkshake to make it worth the cost.
