Belgian Waffle Works - Lake Arrowhead

Went to Lake Arrowhead Village too early and most shops/restaurants were still closed but good thing we found this spot right by the ferry ride entrance. They serve only breakfast (until 10:30 when most of the menu is available to order) so I couldn’t order the salad I’ve been craving but I settled with getting the Belgian Scrambled plate and omg I was so happy I did! I usually ignore the toast that comes with my bfast but this plate came with a generous amount of guacamole so I used that to make an avocado toast

Really good place to get breakfast/lunch. Loved every single thing I got. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they were out of so many ingredients at only 8:30am that it made a bit difficult to order. However, I still recommend this place; just try to get there early because it gets really busy!

Arrived mid morning and There was a little bit of a wait due to busy morning. After seated and ordered food came out quick! Very Delicious we ordered chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy. Friendly and attentive staff and nice cozy family style restaurant.

The restaurant is clean and welcoming, with a friendly staff that frequently checks in to refill coffee, ensure satisfaction with meals, and offer to clean up once you're finished. As for the waffles? Simply delicious! They are thick and fluffy, not overly sweet or dry, with just the right golden-brown crispiness that makes the first bite so satisfying. And let’s talk about the butter – no margarine here! Each waffle comes with its own small cup of pre-melted real butter. (I didn’t check if it’s from local Californian dairies, but it sure is good!) The staff ensures to stir the butter before pouring it over the waffles. Overall, the waffles are the star of the show, but the rest of the menu isn't too shabby either, though we haven’t explored it much since we keep going back for the waffles! Keep in mind that it's a popular spot, so be prepared to wait around 15 to 30 minutes for a table if you want to dine indoors, and possibly longer if you wish to sit on the terrace during peak times. If you find yourself in Lake Arrowhead Village, definitely stop by Belgian Waffle Works for a fantastic waffle experience – you won’t be disappointed!

It is over expectations. I picked here for our lunch. I didn't expect how good of an tourist American restaurant could be. However, it was better than I expected and our family was enjoying it. The negative point of this restaurant was too slow. We wait for 1 hr to get the seat while there were some empty table open. After we sat down, we wait for about 20 minutes to order. Another 20-30 minutes for the food delivery. Oh well, it was about 2hrs wait to get our food. We didn't really mind for the wait. We were here for a getaway vacation. We were good with it because the food was good and inexpensive.
