What Gavrily Fischer doesn't like about Matt's Farm Market:
Drove 20 minutes to this place to find an empty piece of farm land with a small shed that has some eggs and milk for sale. (It says open 24 hours but no human being was around) View all feedback.
Wow, where do I even begin? First of all, the owner is fantastic—extremely friendly and polite. He grows all the produce he sells, and everything is organic. The sweet corn is amazing, with huge ears, and the tomatoes he calls "ugly tomatoes" may have a spot or two, but anyone with a bit of common sense knows you just cut those off. He also offers bell peppers, red peppers, pumpkins, pumpkin squash, fresh chicken eggs, raw whole milk, and large, beautiful Indian corn. Lastly, his prices are unbeatable; there’s no one or any store that can match the quality of his produce at those prices.
This place is a hidden gem. If you manage to find it, you'll be treated to a selection of fresh, seasonal produce picked directly from local farms. It's definitely the place to be!
I drove 20 minutes to this location only to discover an empty plot of farmland with a small shed offering just some eggs and milk for sale. It claimed to be open 24 hours, but there was no one there.
A true old fashioned farm stand everything home grown. From the stand you can see the plants in the adjacent field. Real tomatoes. Great zucchini. Sweet corn to die for. You won't be disappointed!
What a relaxing experience with the best of Pennsylvania farming in the middle of nature;! The pumpkins we got were very nicely priced and of great quality. We had all the time in the world to take as many pictures as we wanted to with a backdrop of forest and multi-colored mountains in the background.
