O... read more Our dining experience at this restaurant was beyond terrible. We waited for an excruciating 1 hour and 45 minutes, only to be told they forgot about our food. Our drinks order was never taken, and the staff's attitude was appallingly rude. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to warn us about limited time, which we reluctantly accepted due to a concert commitment. Instead of apologizing for their negligence, they were outright disrespectful and repugnant. Imagine the audacity of bringing us bread after an agonizing hour, only to carelessly discard it on our table. Meanwhile, the neighboring table received impeccable treatment, leaving us feeling like second-class citizens. This place is a disgrace to the concept of hospitality and customer service. Unless you enjoy being treated like trash while starving and thirsty, steer clear of this abysmal excuse for a restaurant. Save your time, money, and sanity, and look elsewhere for a decent dining experience.

We have found this amazing restaurant last year when visiting Tuscany and already back then we loved so much we ate twice in a row there. But this year we came back to Tuscany to celebrate with my husband his 40th birthday and our 1st year anniversary and Lajatica has accommodate us for an outstanding dinner for 30 people served in their beautiful and very unique garden. But what really blows your mind is the food they make. Their pizzas are to die for and also very original in flavors. Planning this dinner night for my husband I was in contact with the owner of the restaurant, Lorenzo and let me tell you, his customer service and hospitality is outstanding. He even helped me to organize local taxi services so we can all go back to our villa safe but enjoy a glass or two of his delicious wines. The menu was defined and we will defo be back whenever we visit Tuscany again. So I hope to see you next year

Once inside, however, you arrive at the external green space surrounded by pine trees and 70s lights which create a truly particular and pleasant atmosphere above the tables. A good selection of niche wines and not from the large-scale distribution circuits. And.. the last but not the least: Rino bbq! A different way of understanding the grill and meat with long cooking and smoking and with the use of studied spices and aromas. The beef and pork ribs, the picanha and the cockerel are really good. Are we looking forward to the next events that he says will be with asado? Diaphragm? pastrami? or something else?
