Tai Pan - Lahore

Had sehri Buffet here, more number of dishes but taste was just ok... Enjoyed fresh cheese omlete though.

It’s quite surprise to have an average Chinese food from one of the restaurants in PC Lahore. It’s quite easy to get authentic Chinese food due it’s penetration in the world and rise of china in past couple of decades. Yet, some restaurants didn’t keep up with the trend. Tai-Pan could be one of the restaurants. Let’s start with the food. I think considering the place, this was one of the most ordinary and forgetful food experiences I have had. The service as slow and although servers were polite, but they weren’t friendly or seemed comfortable. I ordered dumplings and regretted my decision right after the first bite of it. Ordinary taste with thick layer for dough made it quite a challenge to eat. I would have expected that from a less fancy and ordinary place but not from Tai-Pan. Rest of the food was just ok. There was nothing special to remember about it than an overpriced food.

Shukr Allahumdulilah and many thanks to the administration of PC Hotel and Tai Pan. After a long time, our favorite restaurant visited TaiPan. Order exciting and delicious dishes; . TEmpura Prawns . Spring rolls. Chicken Manchurian . Dried fry fish with chilis . Sizzling Beef

One of the hidden gems in the Pearl Continental Hotel lahore. The food is mouth irrigation from appetizers to main course. We in the MMFF magazine tried Jumbo Prawns, who were incomparable quality, not oily at all and were crunchy until the end. The Hot n Sour soup is also a winner. Next Kungpao had fish and beef Chilli Dry . Both were very delicious with Egg Fried Rice. Prices are not so expensive
