Located right behind Lahore's famous freedom market in the heart of Lahore Qaddafi, an iconic restaurant called “Baranah – Exotic Cuisine Of Old Lahore”. I visited this place last night for dinner and it was an amazing experience. I guarantee you can't find a better Tawa Chicken somewhere in Lahore beside this place. They use a signature red sauce made of yogurt, green chiles and lemons and all magic happens on Tawa with some ghee and chopping chicken pieces chili and lemon juice to absorb.
Visited Barah (12 Exotic cuisine of the old Lahore! And loved every piece of this place! The food was simply amazing... had tawa chicken piece, daal chawal and free gol gappay: yummiest tawa chicken piece!!! Extremely delicate and juicy the ambience was also beautiful and outdoor sitting comfortably with beautiful weather and light music in the background! A must for all come for the love of authentic Lahori Cuisine
Food tastes really good, hygiene and cleanliness lacks serious attention. For instance the indoor seating cushions are covered with stains and are not properly fixed to the chairs/benches, table tops are not sparkling clean. Otherwise I love dining at baranh!
Nice desi food. Not perfect like mouth watering. But yes it was nice.
