After I heard about this place, I was looking forward to trying... The concept of fish or veggie surprise box is great, but unfortunately it is moderately special for the price....some flavors they are right, but for the most part it is lack of creativity and oomph... don't let me start on the pavlova at €11... the setting is great and loved the chickens roaming, but think a revisit of the drawing is necessary to tak... Food is outstanding. Location and atmosphere are fantastic. The 'surprise menu ' (we went for the fish option) is worth every euro of its price. Service would deserve 5 stars too if there wasn 't an extra line mistakingly added to the bill.
An absolute treasure of a restaurant! Not a huge menu, but they offer meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. I can highly recommend the suprise menus. Will be on my yearly Ireland list from now on.
We had a fantastic experience with a vegetarian surprise and seafood surprise menu. Food is locally sourced, innovative and reasonable given the quality! A must visit spot!
One of my favorite restaurants in the whole world. The surprise menu is a MUST! Let yourself be guided by the amazing chefs through this amazing experience. Any dietary restrictions is taken care of and the service is perfect.Friendly, attentive and comprehensive wait staff and excellent coffee to finish off a great night. If you are ever in Lahinch try it for yourself and thank me later.
