Fantastic! Our experience at this restaurant was excellent. When we arrived with our young daughter, the waiter quickly brought out a complimentary small portion of fries just for her. Throughout our meal, we were regularly checked on and had everything we needed. The service was top-notch! We were so impressed that we decided to leave a generous tip. What User doesn't like about Hart's Tavern:
the place was once great, had a Turkish sandwich. the sandwich was so salty! I couldn't stop! the shares are also small for the prices! the best is that it is comfortable in the middle of paddlers village View all feedback.
The food was delicious, with a unique twist on classic pub dishes. The burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly to our liking, with a great balance of flavors. The fries were also fantastic. While the menu is on the smaller side with only two pages, it is clear that they specialize in the dishes they offer, which mainly feature locally sourced meat. Many patrons were enjoying mixed drinks or Stella Artois beer.
What a hidden gem! We were looking for a nice spot for a casual dinner late on a Tuesday evening, but many places were closed. Peddler's Village, which is usually bustling, was surprisingly quiet. Thankfully, To The Happiness Tavern was still open. The atmosphere was charming and had a bit of a nostalgic feel, without feeling outdated. The tavern wasn't crowded, and when we inquired about the IPA on tap, we were quickly offered a generous sample. I ended up going with a Flickerbrau, but appreciated the opportunity to try a few options. For a light dinner for two, we ordered the Hummus Platter starter and a burger. The menu was a bit smaller than usual, but that wasn't surprising considering the pandemic. The hummus plate came with pita chips, cucumber slices, carrot sticks, and celery; while the accompaniments were average, the hummus itself was exceptional with a sprinkle of seasoning and olive oil. To make up for the relatively simple starter, we decided to share the Roadhouse Cheddar Burger. To our delight, the kitchen had already split it for us, serving a generous portion of fries on each plate along with a massive pickle slice. I've never had a restaurant pre-split a dish when told we were sharing, let alone include all the extras. The burger was incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. We also didn't need to ask for ketchup as each plate came with some. My tip: dip the fries in the hummus, it's worth it! We ordered a dessert to go and were pleased to bring some home. The staff was friendly and seemed happy to have some business on a slow night. I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future for a beer and a burger!
The restaurant had an excellent staff and provided quick service. The food was delicious, especially with the special items they offered. We had a great overall dining experience.
I had a wonderful experience at this cozy bar restaurant. The burgers were absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. If you are looking for a great place to have lunch, I highly recommend checking out this spot. The price per person is very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5.
