Royal Ocean Terrace - Lahaina

I have been dining at Royal Ocean Terrace for many years and have seen a few menu changes. The current menu is unappealing. We ordered the steamed fish and chicken flatbread. The food came out so fast it had to have been microwaved. The texture of the chicken on the flatbread was mushy and had no flavor. The fish was served with rice but the grains of rice were hard and undercooked. We will not be returning.

We have chosen this place specifically for brunch. the buffet was terrible and the order from the menu was not better. at 10 o'clock in the morning the Landscaping crew ran the weed and rasenmäher for our entire meal. the server was beautiful and apologetic and the manager has reduced our meals. they didn't seem surprised that eating was terrible.

The kula greens salad was excellent! my ahi tuna was delicious and my partner enjoyed the hawaiian style steamed fish. excellent service and fun to enjoy the sunset on the terrace.

Go only there if you are already at the pool. basic pool restaurant. eating was ok, but there are definitely better options.

25-year anniversary on reservation, server never recognized. the food choices were very limited and rib eye was average ni worth the $47.
