What User doesn't like about Pizza Paradiso Mediterranean Grill:
I like this place. It has a great local vibe, menu sounds good and they are seriously clean. Why no more than three stars? They need to rethink their flavors. Pizza has great dough but the sauce is pedestrian. The toppings lack flavor. They list local farmers but I don?t taste it in the salad. The best pizza, at least in this part of Maui! Last night we ordered take-out of an incredible pizza. Pesto with sausage, fresh tomatoes, and red onions. OMG! We’ve been there several times and every time it’s better. I like to get there a little early to pick up just so it’s hot, right out of the oven! Everybody there is super friendly as well. Take it from the King, don’t miss this place!!!
Door guy was extremely disrespectful and insulted the fact that I was visiting. The expensive $8 excluding tax) beers would be worth it if the atmosphere wasn’t so un-inviting. Overall, certain workers should see-to improving their attitude and manner towards guest of all kinds in order for this business to succeed.
Pretty good place. Nice pizza. A little bit on the slower side and it would’ve been nice to have fountain drinks instead of cans but not much to complain about. I don’t know if that’s the owner that works there, but I feel a little bad for him because in the half hour we spent there every time he turned his back, his pizza guy is chopping up slices of pizza, dowsing them in ketchup and then running back to the walk-in refrigerator to eat out of sight. But most pizza places will let you grab a slice or two here and there so it’s more of a heads up.
Gyros, falafel, pizza, cheese steak, kabob, Dole whip!
This place has a bit of everything if you have a picky family. Decently priced as well. We had the wings, gyro and a slice of pizza.
