The food was delicious and prepared quickly as well. However, beware of the gypsy woman walking around with a basket of leis. She approached our table and presented us with lei necklaces. I honestly thought it was something the restaurant did as she was in the restaurant so I figured she wasn’t a separate business. She then tells me the lei necklaces are $30. When I said I didn’t want it anymore she proceeded to say “that’s not how this works”. Mind you I had this necklace on my neck for a minute tops. She continued on saying “no one has ever done this before” and all I can think is $30 for a lei necklace that will die tomorrow!? I got scammed, I’m sharing this so you don’t fall for it either!

Been coming to the island for decades and have been to Kimo’s many times. The service was slow and very disingenuous. The fish was over cooked on each plate but the calamari was very good. Again, won’t come back after this experience.
