A`a Roots - Lahaina

I love this place. The ambience, the service, the quality of the food (all Vegan), is absolutely unnoticed. If you go on Sunday, they have a special menu that is SO DELICIOUS and I look forward to it every week! This is a breakfast / lunch must-go safe from the west side.

Summary: the ONLY 5 star vegan sit down food in Maui... and yes we tried them ALL. Ambience: unfortunately due to COVID we had to sit outside so we did not factor this in. Service: Amazeballs! The order taker server dude was so nice, walked us through the menu, SOLD us on items by explaining dishes rather than just BSing like so many other servers these days. He was passionate, kind, and quick! Food: finally some FLAVOR in the Hawaiian islands. Three weeks here and we have only found a few restaurants that don't inundate you with sweet, creamy, mushy food. A'a however was bomb. From something as simple as grilled cheese and tomato soup to the burritos and avocado toast, it all was so tasty. Seriously, I know it may seem silly to be happy with a grilled cheese and tomato soup, but sometimes going back to basics is what you need! Definitely will return if we are ever on Maui.

This was by far the best açaí bowl we ate on Maui. Super delicious, fresh and healthy ingredients and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, we couldn't pay with our credit card and tried to withdraw money at three different ATMs for free. In the end, the bowls went to the house. At this point again a great thank you! we can recommend this restaurant to any very nice people and delicious dishes. Thanks and best regards from Germany

Wow, this place is delicious. The shells should die. Like what? I wish I ate this every day. Feel good from a good place. The owners are in the back pipes fresh locally produced tasty treats and Kevin up front is a big guy with a service. We'd like to eat here every day. Get an Açaí shot or a Pataya shot and I bet you'll come back for more. Thank you.

Fantastic Açaí Bowls, Avocado Toast and a variety of fresh juices and other breakfast items and sandwiches. This was just one of our favorite places in Maui for breakfast or lunch. Great seating areas inside and outside.
