Found Lagunitas Grocery Store on the way back from hiking at Abbots Lagoon and the Lighthouse. Had a GREAT veggie and avocado sandwich on Dutch crunch bread. We devoured it so quickly that I forgot to take a pic. Service was super friendly and quick! The manager also checked on how we liked the food. Tables and chairs are inside and outside the store. I would definitely go back the next time I visit the area. View all feedback.

they need to clarify what they have when. called and was told no breakfast but went anyway thinking i would eat tacos. guess what? no tacos or mexican food or anything beyond a few items in deli case. those big photos of menus youre seeing on yelp? those are movable chalkboards. we showed up for sunday breakfast lunch food at 12:42 and there was nothing i wanted to eat among the few items available. really wish i had... I stumbled off trail in search of the most basic driving sandwich I could find. Turkey and cheddar on light rye seemed tough to mess up but my bar was set waaaay too low for this gem. The lettuce, the mayo and mustard in perfect proportions, the fact that you could taste the cheese AND the turkey made my tastebuds so happy!!!
The food was so good! And the service equally impressive. I had the chicken salad: very fresh and flavorful. Friend 1 had chicken taquitos cup of fruit: 5 stars. The taquitos were huge and she's never had fresher fruit. Friend 2 had a Turkey/Bacon/Swiss sandwich and it looked amazing. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. Don't sleep on this little gem. We'll definitely stop here again when we're in this area.
My lord, I cannot stop ordering that Rueben sandwich. And I never will. Took home half of it last night, and after my husband ate it he said, I want you to get that every time you are in the area. Oh I will. RIP waistline. You guys are great. Someday I might even try something else.
This store/deli is my local and I come here for staples but I have discovered that they probably have one of the best burritos in the county and I would put their burrito up with even some of the better places in San Francisco lots of flavorful meat with all the usual accompaniments and for a decent price and the bonus is that they even make their own hot sauce to go with it
The food is decent and it is just a fun place...It is also critical that a place with a little of everything in a pinch (like toiletries and kindling) exists in a fairly remote location. Support these cool people and their wacky sandwich procession!
