I was seriously pampered with sushi restaurants and will be nervous trying new places. My parents found this place and took me to Hiro. Now I went to the sushi restaurant. I'd rather sit at the bar in Hiros section. Always busy, but I didn't wait more than 20 minutes. I'm making grandmacases? highly recommended. View all feedback.
What Amir Puren doesn't like about Kotobuki:
Do not appreciate hearing the F word used as an adjective, adverb or verb while dinning by Hero the sushi owner. Salmon handroll was ok but the experience sucks... View all feedback.
Some of the best fish I have had! Everyone should treat themselves.
Three of us eat at the Sushi bar sushi was better than Nobu!
I’ll always miss Hiro Tatsu but Yasu, the new Mgmt, and Team will not disappoint. The new renovations look fantastic, and they still do the classics that we all fell in love with but will also provide new dishes which is a great change of pace. I’ve been to “top-notch” sushi restaurants in OC and LA and Kotobuki is still my number 1.
This is our first time coming back after they remodeled and changed management. Hiro-san may have retired but do not despair! The new chefs are fantastic and still deliver fresh, flavorful sushi. In fact this time, we were given dishes that were new to the menu and they were delicious! I’m happy to say this is STILL one of the best places to get sushi. I’m so happy Kotobuki is still in good hands!
They are closed for renovation, how disappointed. I was already to try.
