The location is stunningly beautiful. The beach atmosphere and table service are charming and perfect for Laguna. The pastries are delicious, as well as the smoothies. Everything is fresh and tastes absolutely wonderful. The staff is on the younger side and slightly less attentive. We had to wait a long time for two items. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Stand Natural Foods:
The food is quite bland and the combination of favors/ ingredients is strange to throw akin day-old remnants together to make a dish that is good but not. Would not recommend this place. Updated by previous review on 2022-12-30 View all feedback.
I always loved to come here. I do not live in ca, but have family who do, and I always make it a point to come here when I am in town. it is only good, healthy, fresh and so many options. You can't beat that.
Quick and friendly service. I ordered the delicious avocado pita. They do not skimp on the alfalfa sprouts!! The pita was so full, it was hard to bite into. I’d recommend scooping out and eating some of the filling with the chips that are served on the side. My friend ordered half a sandwich and the chunky cauliflower soup (also delicious). While eating the food outside, they offered me a free side of soup!! A happy surprise. Love this place!!!
Food was ok. We had the Tamale Plate and “famous” Avocado sandwich. I wouldn’t come back to try more. There is so much on the menu, I kinda feel like if they narrowed the menu and focused on making things more special it could be more exciting. For example the beans on the tamale plate were basically canned Pinot beans. Just kinda all basic.
Healthy, fresh, and scrumptious! We had a breakfast burrito and fruit-covered waffle both were perfect.
My husband and I took a day trip to Laguna Beach from San Diego, and we came here because we knew it the one eatery we knew for sure would have vegan options. We discovered The Stand on HappyCow, and the food is really good. We both had pitas, probably because they were on the cheaper side (not over $10). It was really busy, so we had to wait for our food, maybe 15-20 minutes. Or maybe it just felt long. There isn’t much seating. We found a couple of stools on the side of the building, but they were on an incline and not too comfortable. I just found it easier to stand and eat. Next time I think we’ll be taking the food to go and find a picnic spot.
