Splashes - Laguna Beach

Came here to celebrate my mother-in-law?s birthday. Mainly for the fantastic ocean view. It?s just impeccable to sit next to the beach and listen to the waves while enjoying good food. There is not that many vegan options which is why I took one star off. The vegan veggie sandwich was rather plain. If they could spend more time investing more vegan or other diet friendly menu that?d be perfect!

Wonderful experience. Delicious Hummer Bisque followed by possibly the best scallops I've ever had. My wife had the paella, which was also the first rate. Amazing atmosphere with views of the beach and surfing. A great culinary experience. They won't be disappointed.

The Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, the View couldn't get better. The service was exceptional ? ? I highly recommend. It was a perfect romantic setting.

Wife and I are on our honeymoon and this was our first lunch. We were seated right on the beach and there were heaters for each table if we needed it. Waitstaff was excellent and attentive, our drinks were always full if we wanted it. We started with the octopus, which had a cumin pancake and green garbanzo spread She had the mahi mahi tacos and I had the blackened swordfish sandwich with lobster bisque. The fish in both meals was cooked perfectly, not dry at all. The lobster bisque was not overpowering or thick, it was surprisingly light and also had a sweet taste to it. The whole meal was delicious and I?d highly recommend it!

The second time to eat here, the first time, was 6 years ago, and a few changes safe. menu seems somewhat limited and much fish; Eating was good, my favorite dish was the charcuterie board.
