This is a great little restaurant! My mom and I chose to eat outside and watch the sunset. What we didn’t know is there is only one or two good tables to watch the sunset, the rest are covered by walls. The staff was amazing though! Quick and observant. Even gave us the option to switch to a bigger table. The patio was packed. You’d have to be fit to walk through the crowded tables. The decor was cute, an ancient Fre... View all feedback.
What Marlene Grahmann doesn't like about C'est La Vie:
Not as good as it used to be. The place is a little run-down and the service isn't great. Probably why it's not as busy either. The seafood crepes are really good, and hubby's pork chops were tasty too. The salad is not good, so get the soup! Desserts are pretty good, but didn't seem fresh. The best thing about this place is the view from the upstairs patio! View all feedback.
Great experience ,great sea food, great server. And a nice ocean view! Thank you guys for agreat family dinner!
Great experience ! I really like it. Table on the roof with a great ocean view, the salmon was delicious, bid choice of desserts, and good service.
One of worst experiences Ive ever had at a restaurant. We were never greeted sat at a table for over 15min while the table who was seated after us was greeted and served water. Our waiter Anton never brought us water or napkins or silverware took our order with no enthusiasm. After ordering our drinks and appetizers and food arrived he served our meal around the dirty plate and never brought our silver our foot sat cold while we waiting for napkins and silverware. He removed plates while still trying to finished never asked if we were still working on our plates. Were more than dissatisfied with our serve and would never refer anyone in the community or tourist to eat at this restaurant poor service all the way around.
We just went for a sweet treat, we saw the pastries from the street and they looked delicious, but there were not. Everything was dry and tasteless, not fresh and very overpriced. The lemonades were so bad, literally tasted like the cheapest canned lemonade from the grocery store, but for $8. The only thing we liked was the ocean view and the staff, because they were very nice.
Walking by noticed the croissants in the window and thought they looked good. $12 for the worst croissants we have ever had in our lives. The texture was like they were at least three days old and zero flavor. What a huge waste of money. We would have gone back but we were running late and it took several minutes to get service the first time around. We also learned a lesson to check reviews even on impulse purchases.
