Contribute Feedback What Alexie Hermiston likes about Broadway By Amar Santana:
recently moved into the opposite and we heard good things about the restaurant. everything we have ordered was very good, tasteful and detailed at each court. two courts stood out, one was the sashimi, not sure what kind of sosse she had there, but it was fresh and light that produced the sweet of sashimi. the second was branzino, it came with adorned celery pieces and scavenging that brought lightness to the court.... What Jewel Lynch doesn't like about Broadway By Amar Santana:
if they're stuck a long hair under their branzino, they don't expect an apology or possibility to compensate for the inconvenience. Once they get their fish, their friends will finish their dinner. no apologies or possibility to compensate for inconvenience. very disappointing. View all feedback.
As a long-time fan of Chef Amar's culinary skills, I was thrilled to finally visit Broadway, a well-established dining spot in Laguna Beach. Chef Amar's unique talents shine through in the dishes served at Broadway, just as they do at his other locations. The atmosphere at Broadway is modern yet rustic, and the staff is friendly and attentive. My server, Sergio, expertly described the recommended menu items and specials for the evening. I started with the Hamachi appetizer, which was beautifully presented and had a perfect balance of citrus and savory flavors. For my main course, I had the Branzino with Brussels Sprouts, both of which were delicious and expertly prepared. Overall, Broadway offers creative menu options to suit all preferences, and I highly recommend a visit. Don't wait, go enjoy a meal at Broadway soon! Bon Appetit!
The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are fantastic, and they offer a great variety of wines. The fries and mole are especially amazing!
Absolutely amazing experience at Broadway for my first visit. The service was excellent and the meal was outstanding! One of the best restaurant experiences I've had. I highly recommend trying the Goat Cheese Honey, Crisp Brussels Sprouts, Lamb Tenderloin, Japanese Hamachi Sashimi, and Lemon Ricotta Fritters. The atmosphere was also top-notch. Price per person ranged from $50–100 for dinner. Service, food, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5.
The table next to us, seated after us, also complained about not receiving their main courses, which arrived before ours, despite being a party of two. In terms of food, the sashimi was fantastic (10/10), the ravioli was a bit bland (5/10), the butternut squash salad was simple but enjoyable (7/10), and the stuffed pepper was small for a main dish and also slightly bland (6/10). The edamame was delicious. As for drinks, I can't recall the name but they were decent. The portions were relatively light and left us feeling hungry. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated. We are hesitant to return unless there are significant improvements in service and a more personable manager.
Amazing restaurant, amar is super top ., food and drinks are beyond great .. last night we had the chance to see Amar again ., and he is such a beautiful guy ., we love this place
