Recommended by local guide. Restaurant on edge of fish dock near station. Busy with locals, families groups. Either grilled fish with boiled potatoes or meat with chips. Good portion sizes. Simple food but done well with excellent choice and very competitive prices compared to the main restaurant areas. Would recommend for authentic experience View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tasca Da Lota:
For a fish restaurant you would expect to get fresh fish, not pre-frozen. We had mussels (tiny and many shells didn’t have any), squid (my son had to chew and chew and chew. Cutting it was like a dissection) and swordfish which was dry. I asked if the squid was frozen before cooking and was told “yes”. None of the waiting staff did a “check back” when we were mid meal and had they done this I would have said how bad... View all feedback.
Besser geht nicht. Preis Leistung und Service genial. Ich erwarte von einem Restaurant im Hafenbereich keine Designermöbel. Die Stühle und Tische passen einfach.
Já venho á lota á mais de 10 anos, e posso dizer que tem vindo a melhorar a cada ano que passa. Preços extremamente acessíveis, peixe fresco grelhado no momento mesmo á nossa frente, com um serviço bastante simpático e rápido.
Bom restaurante de grelhados, simples mas eficaz no que se quer, comida grelhada com doses generosas. Secretos de porco preto um pouco rijos mas saborosos. Lulas grelhadas com bom sabor
Melhor restaurante de peixe em Lagos. Ótimos preços acessíveis aliados ao genuíno marisco português fresco. A equipe é atenciosa e muito prestativa. Diferente de outros restaurantes tentadores para turistas, este é português.
Você não precisa sentar aqui para sentir a atmosfera. Um restaurante no meio da cidade, fora do centro, mas a comida era deliciosa... recomendado
