Snack Faustino 1961 - Lagos

Popped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon helpful friendly and welcoming had a local beef stew with the house wine and lovely cake and coffee to finish!

Visited this restaurant on two occasions and each time it was very quiet with very few customers. Maybe it's a bit off the beaten track for people visiting Praia da Luz but it is worth a visit. The food and service was good and parking isn't a problem.

Visited Faustinos as it was a 5 minute walk from our villa. The owner came and suggested meals for us, i chose peri peri chicken and my partner chose the portugese steak. Both were beautifully cooked and a large meal! Served with cheese olives and bread to start as complimentary! It was a really nice place and the staff made us feel very welcome. But i think the best bit was the bill, for our 2 meals, 2 beers and 2 large orange juices it was €30 which was very reasonable considering the size and quality of the meal! Will definately return before going home!

A small unassuming place, not well advertised on the outskirts of Luz on the road towards Burgau. I had the best Garlic Prawns ever. You could so easily miss it, just opposite the closed Gusto Restaurant. The service is attentive and quick. The food great and the prices reasonable.

Top place to eat and drink, we visited with 5 Adults and three children 1, under five, and two 18 month twins, The food was just great we all finished our meals,The staff 100% we all sat outside and enjoyed our visit. A must to try if you are around that area.
