Asked for olives, got some cut black olives with no taste at all together with a starter for which we waited 30 minutes. The starter were mussels el diablo, of which 1/3 were closed, which means they weren’t fresh. How can a chef serve closed mussels? The mains were two stewed octopuses, hard, bland and terrible with some frozen peas and carrot. I might say that was the worst octopus I have ever eaten. This place has nothing to offer. Total waste of money. To avoid.

The food is always great, but since turning vegetarian a few years ago i have always struggled to find a restaurant with a proper enjoyable vegetarian option; not just your usual veggie pizza or tomato pasta. Saibos’ veggie burger and vegan mango tofu curry are among the best i have ever tasted! The staff are also lovely, one man in particular is a really great guy, never got his name. It is reasonably priced and overall just a lovely experience for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Fellow veggies struggling in Lagos, check it out!
