And then came back to the hostel at the end of the summe... read more So originally I booked Top City hostel for 1 night. Before I knew it, I extended for about 5 more days. And then came back to the hostel at the end of the summer. I could have and would have stayed even longer if possible. That said, Top City is the best hostel I 've ever stayed at. Maybe because it didn 't really feel like a hostel, but like family. Not only is the property and rooms beautiful, clean, and comfortable, the staff (especially Nuno, Cristiano, and 'Glitter Queen ' Dani make you feel right at home. I found that everyone at Top City is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. From the rooftop BBQs (bottomless Sangria and Beer, and delicious food HELLO! to the wild pub crawls each night (but please someone steal Dani 's whistle , to the rooftop pool with priceless views of Lagos, you are sure to make lifetime friends and amazing memories!! Top City definitely makes you want to stay 'ONE MORE DAY! ' Thank you for being the highlight of my trip (both visits . LOVE YOU!

Sat down and waited.......and waited.......and waited even though the waiter saw u... read more Decided to try here for breakfast as it was just a block away from our hotel. Sat down and waited.......and waited.......and waited even though the waiter saw us, he just ignored us took orders from tables who had arrived much later than us. At times I thought we must have been invisible yes the cafe was busy but no excuse, not even a drink order being taken. We were at the point of walking out when he eventually decided to take our order eggs on toast for my wife and bacon eggs on toast for me plus 2 coffees each food was OK (although there was a tiny difference between cost of just eggs bacon and eggs when there was plenty of bacon). No excuse for bad service so won’t be returning.
