T... read more I’m so pleased to visit Algarve and still find authentic Portuguese experience. We were welcomed by the Portuguese couple and locals and the place is so cozy. The service is great considering is just an old couple cooking and serving. Food is great, fresh and tasty (I’m Portuguese from lisbon . The menu and price list is on chalkboard you won’t be fooled also. We had amazing octopus salad and clams and turned to meat and had bifanas (pork sandwich alongside lots of beer for €1.20 (33cl ish beer is called tulipa . Our friend played his guitar and the locals joined in and was just a such a lovely evening of snacks and good vibes with no overpriced products. Happy to support Lagos residents and will be back :
