OK the venue has a real Portuguese vibe and packed with locals but the grub and price did not meet my expectations.Good selection of fish but cold over cooked chips and a load of salad whether you want it or not.Also when the fish is priced by the Kg then you never know what you are going to pay and to be honest if I've got in my pocket then I know of better placesto spend it.Glad I went, enjoyed the overall experien... Carne assada é no Chico Ze, dos restaurantes locais mais tradicionais de Lagos, sempre com produtos frescos e um preço bastante acessível. O unico senao por vezes é a longa fila de espera
This is the best place to try the local sardines in algarve! you need to wait, there is no other option. my best tipp is to come at 12:00 clock and the line will not be so long. somehow it's worthy. it is delicious and cheap. the personal is very professional, friendly and helpful, especially the girls. it was a perfect sardine experience with local white wine.
Lugar muito grande e sempre lotado, mas o local pode ser encontrado rapidamente. Excelente peixe e carne, pouca ou nenhuma escolha para os vegetarianos além de salada ou batata frita... mas encontrei disponibilidade na tentativa de comer algo mais! Porções super generosas!!! Fechado à noite.
Experiência muito boa! Afinal o peixe é algo diferente. Pensei em pedir entrecosto (estilo nl), mas este era muito mais saboroso e com bastante carne. Além de uma salada justa e de uma sobremesa com café expresso, tivemos uma boa refeição!
