Regardless other prior reviews, criticizing Kiboo's service, I couldn't agree less: we've been there last night and the restaurant's team was most sweet. The food is by far the best in town. View all feedback.
What Ourwalkabout doesn't like about Kiboo Sushi:
If this is the best in the area I will have to wait a long time to have Japanese food again. The food was well presented but didn't taste fresh as it should, even the soy sauce didn't taste nice. The Yaksoba was totally stack together and I could not even separate it using a fork.Unfortunately I had to throw it in the rubbish bin. I had high hopes to make it my local Japanese but after this experience will not go back... View all feedback.
The place is nice with a gardenlike ambient. Staff was generaly friendly. The menu has a good variety of options. It is nevertheless pricy for the quality offered. The food is not very authentic if measured by the real Japanese or places with more japanese influence. The taste is adapted to local taste, expect loads of cream cheese in your sushi, slushi guioza, there is no daikon on the side, not much use of dashi, lack of umami and seasoning, overcooked rice. Don 't expect anything existing from the sake selection either. It is still a place to go, if you don 't expect to get an 'Asian Experience '. Loud musik from a neighboring pub is a nuisance though.
