Sikandar Indian Cuisine - Lagoa

First time here and very impressed. I had the menu of the day for A drink, popadom and pickles, chicken curry and rice. Excellent tasting chicken curry. Lovely creamy taste and the waiter gave us some extra green chilli to add some extra spice if we wanted it. Basmati rice was cooked just right, nice and fluffy. Waiter was excellent, very attentive. Recommend going here for an excellent curry.

Don’t miss out on the fabulous Indian restaurant amazing food and great location. Staff are very attentive; can’t fault it. Probably the best Indian meal I’ve ever had.

We visited in December, between Christmas and New Year. There were not too many other restaurants open, so we thought we would do this a little. I'm so glad we did when the food was amazing. Vegetable Samosas and Chicken Pakora were delicious appetizers, but the Prawn Puri gave every other menu envy. The most important courses were just as good we all had fish curries of one or another. Very tasteful! My only criticism was that there was too much. Fortunately, we were able to take home the remains that made a great lunch on the following day.

Great service, plenty of vegetarian and other options, friendly staff, good options for kids. They brought over cushions for my 3 year old to create a booster seat without being asked. Whole place seemed clean and tidy.

Now been going regularly to Sikandar since it opened about 4 years ago. Usually go a couple times whenever we visit The Alagarve and have never been disappointed, food and service has always been excellent. Cold beers, large Gin Tonics, great Indian food and live music most nights Perfect!
