Lighthouse Grill - Lagoa

I booked a birthday dinner for 21 people. It did not disappoint, the weather could have been better but that couldn't be helped, the restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was beautiful as was the cocktails and it was fairly reasonable for what we got, they were also super responsive to emails. We enjoyed our time. I would love to come back during the spring or summer to experience live entertainment there with the sun going down

We arrived for our pre-booked (by telephone) BBQ lunch on Sunday 10 September. Restaurant was closed. No note on the door to explain. I phoned the next day and was told we only had 2 bookings so we closed . I checked website to find that the site was edited 6 days before our reservation to classify Sundays as closed . Very discourteous, aggressive response with no apology. Fortunately we are blessed with many other restaurants in our area so will not miss going to this one!

My husband booked on line to reserve a table for our last night in Portugal. His booking was confirmed. We arrived in the evening to find the restaurant closed. This ruined our last evening. It would appear that the restaurant is not open on a Sunday- so why was our booking confirmed??

We had a fantastic meal, beautiful views from the lounge terrace with sea views. The children were happy to play the table football game and run about the huge terrace area. The staff went over and above to expectations! Highly Recommend even for drinks in the open air lounge.
