the caffe is beautiful in the middle of detmold and the interrior of cafe tries to imitate large city flair. the service is friendly but painfully slow (coffee arrived before eating). eating is decent, but very overpriced 5. euros for a large glass fresh orange juice, 4.20 euro for a large latte macchiato). will not be recommending! Outback, difficult to get a table, no mater what day of the week you go, the tables are always reserved which really frustrates me. The upside..once you get a seat the service, ambience, and food is very good especially the burgers. Eaten on many occasions throughout the years and have never been disappointed.
Good place to eat a good burger. Pretty big choice, also for vegetarians. Nice ambiance and good service. I gave it a very good, because average sounds so bad....
Cafe Outback is the go to meeting place for theatre folk. It boasts a friendly and attractive waitstaff, crispy flammkuchen, and although the drinks are Frankfurt prices, they really give you your money's worth of alcohol. I haven't had a cocktail I didn't like. Do however, avoid the nachos.
Found this place by chance when looking for a place to meet for breakfast.Nice space, looks like it would be a great bar for the evening too, but breakfast menu is comprehensive, covering everything from light bites to full on hearty bacon / pancakes options.Pricing good, great coffee too and service was also excellent.
Being Australian, it's nice to have a cafe that reminds me of home (in name, if not by food). This place does great cocktails and the hamburgers aren't that bad either. They have some nice deals on Thursdays and Sundays.
