I have been working in the catering industry for many years and have experienced a lot of inappropriate things. But today was unbelievable. I became aware of the location “Bambus” in Lage on the Internet because they advertise a “spacious and cozy outdoor area” on their website. So I reserved a table in this outdoor area by email. When we arrived, after a 40-minute drive, we discovered that there was no outdoor area. I informed the service person about the disappointing situation. She responded quite politely and assured me that she would take care of the situation. Since there were no more reactions, I asked the male waitress when I was paying if the situation had been discussed and if he was on the topic. Now the unbelievable thing... the gentleman met me in the most rude way, shouted at me, insulted me as anti-social, I should keep my mouth shut, they don't have an outdoor area, he doesn't give a shit about the rest, I should pay your bill now and then kick me out of his store (verbatim). A simple apology and an espresso on the house would have been enough to let us go as reasonably satisfied customers. Never been so disappointed with a location. Disgust….!
