We ate here on Saturday night. We booked a table for 9pm and arrived a bit early. The place was deserted and no lights on. We went for a beer in a local bar extremely rural location great fun and returned at 9.15. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and the entrance is beautiful. The couple/owners who were serving were delightful. Very friendly and helpful explaining the menu. We had an excellent dinner here. The highlight was possibly the Wild Mushroom, Honey and Aioli starter but the fillet steak was also first class. If I'm ever in this remote area of Spain again, I will definitely return to LLares can't fault it at all.
We recently visited this lovely family restaurant for lunch. Nestled in a small medieval town the building is beautiful (note: car parking may be a bit challenging! The hosts were welcoming and carefully explained the menu in English as we are too stupid to speak Spanish! Traditional Tapas starters were delicious, followed by substantial mains. I had garlic and paprika prawns, which I thoroughly enjoyed; and my husband had a good steak. Dessert was excellent, definitely have three courses! Highly recommend if you're in this part of the world.
Located in a small village only 3km from the A5 this is a fabulous find. Entry is through a courtyard with tables and chairs set out then into the old building that has been beautifully restored. The dishes were all well cooked, well seasoned and beautifully presented. Unusual plates such as Revuelto of Bacalao (Cod with scrambled eggs) were absolutely fantastic. Good wine list too! Prices good and realistic
This is worth a visit just for the building! The restaurant is in what used to be a hayloft. The original structure remains, with wooden rafters and whitewashed walls, but the decor is contemporary. The menu is what I assume to be traditional Spanish country dishes, well-cooked and served unassumingly by family members. We would never have found this restaurant if we hadn't been told about it by staff at the hotel where we were staying. It's down a side street in a tiny village. We enjoyed our first visit so much, we went back again a couple of days later.
