The Local - LaFollette

Fried green tomatoes are great! my first time eat here. the place is busy, but very clean, lots of parking, many local regular eating here is a good sign! daily specialties, meat and vegetables plates, sandwiches, large selection on pages and appetizers. beautiful ladies give good, attentive service, pleasant and stay busy cleaning and clearing in the location quickly after people leave, not a buck of dirty tables with dishes, etc. eating came fast, fries and fried tomatoes were crispy and hot! chicken salad with cranberry and nuts on croissant was good and fresh. can not wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

I have underestimated this restaurant for too long! Today, my wife and I tried the bone-in pork chop with a baked potato. It was a delicious meal! The pork chop was cooked perfectly and the baked potato was also excellent. It's great to have a restaurant in the city that offers healthier menu options. We also had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, which were the best we've ever had. My wife ordered the hamburger steak with fries and loved it. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future!

Read reviews and decided to try the local. drive 30 minutes to get there and it will be back, and again, and again. ordered a ribeye steak with fries and green beans. only $17. steak was cooked, pommes were the best in Anderson county, and the green beans were delicious. service was excellent and the place was clean. will be repeated and I recommend the local.

Do not ask a command with them go picking up my order drive all the way to home if I did not make my order wrong there, I call it back, it is a 30-minute drive to tell them they would take my name down and I can make this order next time in I go in yesterday try this order together with laughspatties that they want to calculate for them

I absolutely adore this place. The service is fantastic, the food is consistently fresh and served hot. I make it a point to support local businesses.
