Pretty good place. The food on our table was hit or miss. My T-Coons special was nice, but very rich. My brother's fried chicken was overdone and tasted like it had been fried in the same grease as the oysters. It's a fun place, though. Our waitress was a doll. Lots of locals, which we enjoyed.

I came to Lafayette and found good people and good food. Tcoons sausage was top shelf and the staff kind and prompt. Coming from Arizona I was excited to meet real Cajuns. Many thanks for the spices too ! Already made my eggs with them. It’s a good spot to eat no matter where you’re from. T-coons for life

Good was your traditional options. And its simple menu (small or large portions) leave little room for error. I got a shrimp and catfish combo with side of fries and potato salad. The potato salad was delicious and tastes homemade. The fried shrimp and catfish was great. The fries were a miss, I’d get a different side than fries. It’s confusing when you walk in… do I seat myself? Do I walk down the “buffet line”? I stood visibly confused for a bit before someone asked what I wanted to order while just aimlessly standing there… overall food was good, service could’ve been better.

Staff are super friendly, patient, and helpful; they're great! The food received mixed reviews from our group. No flavor in the crawfish etouffee. Fried catfish also had no flavor. Fried pork chop was super crunchy, but so well done we had to help him cutit (even with the steak knife we asked for). Our friends who got breakfast loved it. They raved about the sausage gravy. Anothertried and loved the Tony's Special. Good coffee as well. Noisy. Big parking lot. Best of all, right next door for a walk over toPouparts!! Highlight was how well we were treated by the staff. Appreciate them.

Such a wonderful breakfast the service was fast, the servers were friendly, and the food was fabulous! My friend also said the biscuits were the best he?s EVER had no need for butter or jam!! Seriously, when do you eat a biscuit plain? It was so moistand flavorful truly the best! Plus, it was wonderful seeing the owner, David, cooking in the back!
