The restaurant offers classic French bistro-style cuisine. While steak and frites are certainly staples, there are also numerous seasonal dishes to explore. The charcuterie is outstanding, featuring house-made pâté and rillettes. The menu changes regularly, so it's worth checking back often. However, I do wish the dessert menu changed more frequently. Got reservations as soon as the weekly special of frogs legs was posted. Love grenouilles. Sat next to the harpist which was great and always enjoy Sofie as our server. But these were not traditional frogs legs. Breaded and cooked like mini chicken drummettes and bland by themselves and needed to be rolled and soaked in the sauce (which was good). We were totally happy, even blown away, by our experience. Four long time friends joined to celebrate all our birthdays at a special dinner...average age 81. We had an unforgetable meal at Reve; staff was all wonderful and friendly and our waiter was extraordinary (the big guy). The food was just stellar and we enjoyed everything from salad to dessert. Brought a bottle from one of our cellars that went with our meals and the corkage was reasonable given their wonderful wine list. Some of us had been before and and this place will never disappoint. It really is a creative space and you feel that energy. 10 stars at least.
We had the rouget entree last night, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! The variety of flavors was so wonderful, we paused between bites just to savor the moments ? Thank you for the perfect meals!

A special one night wine and food pairing menu which was delicious. The Morey santenay burgundy paired superbly with the mushroom stuffed chicken leg and fall greens. The halibut prepared in a Grenoblois sauce was perfectly prepared and was so compatible with the two Morey white burgundies. The first course was a fantastic salad with sliced peaches, bits of baked or fried prosciutto, goat cheese, and greens. I could have just that and been happy. One doesn't come across salads so fine anywhere else that I've come across other than at Le Cou Cou in NYC. We can't wait for the next special wine dinner.
A classic, but comfortable, restaurant located in an off spot in Lafayette. Not to be missed, but make your reservations far in advance. Garden seating is delightful on a warm evening.
