Pizza Artista - Lafayette

We love going to Pizza Artista, the staff is always so nice. You know your pizza is fresh, because you can see them make it right in front of you. They have great specialty pizzas, and I wish I would?ve tried the calzone much sooner than I did, thosethings are great. And, they have a beer wall. A whole wall of beer!

I got the BBQ chicken with double chicken and a brownie via Uber Eats. It was a pretty average pizza for $21+, if it was a frozen pizza, that wouldn?t have surprised me. The $3+ brownie was wrapped in saran wrap and tasted rich, but was dry. I?munsure if I will order food from here again, did not feel like a high value exchange.

The pizza at this restaurant is delicious. The level of service can vary depending on the day - sometimes it's great, but other times they may be very busy and things can take a bit longer. My advice is to never order online for pick-up. It can take almost an hour, even if you arrive at the scheduled time. It's much quicker to order in person, which only takes about 30 minutes. Overall, it's a good place to eat, just make sure to avoid online ordering unless you're getting delivery.

The restaurant does not offer a vegan crust, as none of their crusts are vegan. I appreciate that they were upfront about this, which is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1. However, it seems strange to offer vegan cheese and vegan meat on a crust that is not vegan. I wanted to point this out for any vegan or plant-based individuals who may be curious. We ultimately decided not to eat there.

I am always impressed by the young, hardworking employees at this restaurant. They are consistently friendly and efficient, even during busy times when the line stretches out the door. Their positive attitude is commendable. And on top of great service, the food is excellent as well. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.
