Half Shell Oyster House Of Lafayette

Oysters and grilled red fish were both fantastic. Highly recommend the grilled fish... great taste and perfectly cooked. I would personally avoid the grottos... I'm sure other pages were much better.

Our group of 4 had a wonderful time celebrating my wife’s birthday. Our server Cade was very knowledgeable of the menu and was very helpful as we guided through both the menu and our meal. The food was outstanding! All of the courses were brought out at the right times and were all prepared to the right temps. We would highly recommend eating at the Half Shell Oyster House Lafayette.

Gulf oysters Bienville, fresh shucked oysters with a creamy shrimp filled topping. The raw oysters were good here today also. They were nice size and a little salty. Our server Prince did a wonderful job taking care of our tsble.

Some years ago I visited the Half Shell, located at the Hard Rock in Biloxi, and I wasn't impressed at all!! So fast forward years later, I was able to try this location tonight, and I was definitely impressed! I got the Bienville oysters as an appetizer, and for my entrée, I got one pound of Royal Reds. I got asparagus and cheese grits for my sides. Everything was AMAZING!! All the flavors came together perfectly. I also had the Summer Spritz drink, not pictured, and it was really good as well. Our server, Skylee, was AMAZING!!!! She was very patient and very professional with our party of nine!
