I lived just across... read more Gary's remains the top choice for plate lunches, breakfast, and burgers in the area. You won’t find better flavor or quality anywhere else. I lived just across the street for a few years and have tried nearly everything on the menu. Every option is fantastic, so you can't go wrong with your choice. This hidden gem in the neighborhood is always worth a visit!

We stopped in looking for breakfast but we were a little too late. No biggie, so my wife had the crawfish etouffee and shrimp stew, and I had the black eyes, sausage, rice and beans. Wow! They know how to do Louisiana just right! Notto mention Troy was what southern hospitality is all about! We went because it was rated 5 stars and we?ll definitely give itthe same!!

They were closed, but it was nice there was a parking lot available to get out of traffic and safely park for a photo without scary no parking tow signs everywhere asseems to be common in Louisiana.
