I visited the restaurant for lunch around 1:30 PM on Labor Day Monday. There was only one person working, David, who was handling all the roles: greeting guests, serving, processing payments, and taking phone call orders. View all feedback.

We found this place very kid friendly and terrific staff. The price was not bad for the typical costs if eating out. I would recommend it.
Friendly staff Good portion sizes. Nice ambience. Fast service. Only 3* for the food. It's a decent place. Not 5* like some reviews say though. Food was decent. Nothing extraordinary.
The food is always delicious here and the service is both helpful and polite. Easily one of my favorite spots in Lafayette.
I highly recommend giving El Meson a try. We never leave this place disappointed. Always large portions of food, and great quality!
