What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Barranco Cocina Peruana:
The food can be better the paella is very liquidy and need more spice and Lemon. And lomo saltado is a bit dry. What I don’t like is, we are still eating and they are so eager to remove our plates and kick us out. After the 9pm the live music is gone and no other music availableThe reason we are outside is because of the live music View all feedback.
Place is great. Nice place to hang out. Food is expensive and not worth the price. I asked the waiter, what are the most popular items in menu. Literally none of my friends liked the items recommended by her.Food: 3/5
Food was excellent. Many people in our party hadn't been to Barranco and said how much they enjoyed everything they ate and these people are tough food critics. Our service was slow and not very attentive even though the restaurant was pretty dead. We had to ask to place our order and server didn't check on us much. Often flagged the busy boy. Usually have better service there.

A beautiful afternoon and a lovely location with plenty of out- and indoor seating. We enjoyed the front patio and the buzz around us. Service was outstanding, the food arrived quickly and looked appealing, and the cocktails were delicious. I was a little bit disappointed about the vegetarian options which were not many. I was looking forward to the risotto, which was no longer available. I chose the salmon, which tasted 'fishy ' throughout the piece. The mashed potatoes and the associated vegetables were delightful, however! I also ordered the crispy wontons and wasn 't impressed: the filling of pretty flavorless chewy cheese tasted bland and the powdered sugar on top was just weird in this combination. The portions were sufficient enough to fill us up and if I were a meat eater I would have been delighted at this place. If they ever add more vegetable options to their menu I would happily return to this place.
