Delicious pub food, diverse beer selection, and friendly staff make it a top spot for quality dining and local brews. Visitors praise the Shepards's pie and commend the good value. Despite minor lighting issues, Barren Hill remains a great choice for dinner or casual drinks.
The beer is good. Surprised the menu is the same for lunch and dinner and there aren't any organic or vegetarian options.
Excellent food. At our table, we enjoyed the pork belly reuben, duck fries, honey Sriracha wings and specials of a filet tip sandwich and turkey corn chowder. Everything was delicious and we can't wait to go back!
The menu was a little lacking in my opinion in fact so much that we almost left after looking at menu but we decided to give it a go since it was getting late. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks and will definitely be back.
It was fantastic as always. Great service and great food and even better beer. I never have a bad time here.
We sat on the floor for the first time. It was a great surprise to the both of us. Felt very historic.
