We visited for a late brunch on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the roasted organic pork hash with eggs, as well as the tasty salmon on rye toast. The menu offered a nice mix of brunch items and other options, making it a good choice for those looking for variety. While I wish there were a few more brunch items available, I was satisfied with what they had to offer. Overall, Rustic Tavern is worth a try if you're craving some delicious food.

It was one of those perfect meals where everything just falls into place and you leave feeling satisfied. I didn't have any expectations going in, which I think is why it turned out so well. I used Yelp to find a restaurant in the Lamorinda area with easy parking and a casual yet nice atmosphere, and Rustic Tavern fit the bill perfectly. The staff was attentive and accommodating, seating me at a great table under a shady tree. I ordered the barbacoa dish from the brunch menu, which was delicious. The manager even stopped by to chat and make sure everything was to my liking. I enjoyed watching a young couple on a first date at the table next to me, and couldn't help but feel that the charming ambiance of Rustic Tavern contributed to their relaxed and enjoyable meal. Whether you're dining alone or with company, Rustic Tavern provides a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that will make you feel right at home.

We were seated promptly but it took awh... read more Rustic is a good word to describe both the name and interior. A lot of tables with bar seating and multiple televisions. We were seated promptly but it took awhile for our server to get our drink orders. After looking around, it was understandable as they were at the bar area as well. The menu is a tad small on the variety with about 4-5 items for brunch, variety of sandwhiches and appetizers. I had the grass fed barbocoa beef at $14 with 2 eggs, potatoes and pico de gallo. It was a good dish and the beef was what you'd expect being nice and tender. After we finally got our server, service was good thereafter with being checked up on a few times after receiving our dishes. Plenty of street parking available.
