Service impeccable et agréable sur une petite terrasse ombragée. Nous en avons eu pour une cinquantaine d'euros à deux avec un apéro, entrée plat et dessert ! Bon qualité prix, cuisine gourmande, avec de produits frais et très généreuse. L'entrée dite "petite" de salade de chèvre chaud est déjà très copieuse! Un vrai régal ! Le plat tout aussi gourmand, nous avons pris les petits poulpes et le menu du jour poulet basquaise! On avait encore un petit peu de place pour le dessert; fromage blanc et chocolat fondant

La qualité c'est d'abord un accueil et un emplacement. C'est aussi un bon repas. Hier, je me suis régalé d'une généreuse tranche de paleron longuement mitonné sur place, accompagné de riz et de persil. Auparavant, une salade et son chèvre chaud m'avaient mis en appétit. Au dessert, la crème brûlée ainsi que la mousse au chocolat étaient de qualité. Avec un apéritif et un café, l'addition se monte à 23 € par personne.Vraiment, sur cette terrasse ouvrant sur un cadre reposant, on ne peut qu'être très satisfait !

Nous sommes venus un peu par hasard, mais quel régal! Une cuis... read more Un resto estampillé "Bistrot de pays", c'est déjà pour moi une référence... Et effectivement, celui-là découvert par hasard, mérite qu'on y retourne... Une cuisine goûteuse avec de bons produits, un accueil souriant et sympathique, une jolie terrasse ou véranda pour profiter de la belle vue, tout était vraiment bien. Et les pieds paquets, institution de la cuisine provençale et ma madeleine de Proust, étaient à tomber par terre ! Bravo et merci, je reviendrai !

We... read more We found Lafare after our first two choices were closed on a Wednesday. A nice welcome and we were seated on a patio with a wonderful view of the mountains. We both had the menu of the day. Green salad with a toasted slice of bread spread with fresh goat cheese. Then a very large pork chop, tender and perfectly cooked with ratatouille and frites. Ice cream for desert and a half liter of nice rose. All for 18.50 pp. a mix of locals, tourists and bike riders on the terrace. We will return.

Yes, it is called a Bistro, but it is also a full-service excellent Bar and Restaurant and some tables have views of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Family-owned and operated, the Gordeaus, offer Portuguese and French cuisine and superb, friendly service. It is relaxed place for a great lunch and a gorgeous view in a tranquil setting. It doesn't get better than this. Find parking just as you enter town. Enjoy the super fresh octopus salad and lamb chops. They offer great wonderful local wines. Just wow. Go for coffee and a game of backgammon on the terrasse, or sup cocktails in the shadow of the Dentelles with friendly welcoming staff who bustle around tending to diabolo pêche requests or kirs. Love this place.
