Cotton Club Restaurant - Ladysmith

Cottonwood is a beautiful golf course, wonderful scenery from every hole. The food is fantastic, and the staff is amazing. I recommend any one who loves to golf, loves good food, loves great service, to try the Cottonwood Golf Course out. :)

The worst shape I have seen this course in the seven years I have played this course. The tee boxes are a disaster with several just dirt mounds. The fairways have many rock hard dead grass lie areas, The greens are not too bad but several are under repair. I understand they have a new grounds keeper. It appears this keeper is not doing a good job. I suggest your money would be better spent at another course this year. I will report back next year to see if there is any improvement in the condition of the course. On a positive note, they have cleared under brush on some holes.

The golf course is suffering from a dry summer. Very few holes have good eye appeal. It is a place to play, but I do not recommend going out of your way to play a round of golf at this course.Food and beverages are just average.

I've been to many buffets at Cotton Wood and the food is always delicious. I always go back for a second plate. I've also ordered of the menu a few times, and again, the food is great. The owners are warm and friendly, and their pride in ownership shows. Whether dining inside or on the patio there is a beautiful view of the gulf course.

Had a great homemade cheeseburger, it was terrific. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The views from each hole was amazing, being able to see mountains as I golfed was breathtaking. I played this course last September, and cant wait to go back this summer. Would recommend this course to anyone wanting great service, and outstanding golf.
